In a statement to SANA's sports reporter, Al-Amatori said: I entered the karate field five years ago with the encouragement of my family, and the beginning was with coach Munib Abu Hamdan, then I moved to the stage of preparation and rehabilitation with coach Khaldoun Zahreddine to participate in the championships.
Zain indicated that he holds in his balance 10 various medals in the tournaments he participated in over the past years, the most prominent of which for him this year was his winning of the Republic Championship in the kata competition.
Ambitions carried by Zain, who has a black belt and one Dan, to represent the Syrian national team in foreign forums and to raise the national flag in it in line with continuing his educational attainment.
Zain stated that he is training during the current period on a daily basis, without stopping, in preparation for participating in the Republic Elite Championship, which will be held next month, with ambitions to crown it.
According to coach Khaldoun Zahreddine, Zain is a talent who possesses all the elements of excellence and a full-fledged player. He enjoys a high technical level and is distinguished by his intelligence and passion for karate and his sports ethics, indicating that he will have a good future in karate.
Zain’s father, the engineer “Ahmed Al-Amatori” indicated that the sport of karate increased his son’s confidence in himself and taught him the ability to endurance, self-control and the mechanism of implementing technical and combat movements, noting the great credit of the coaches in caring and refining his talent.
