"Spray tear gas on their faces": Two Israelis arrested on suspicion of assaulting soldiers in Samaria | Israel today

The investigation of the incident shows that when the soldiers were handling a fire incident, a number of suspects came towards their vehicle and sprayed them with tear gas, threatened them and fled the scene.


Two suspects, residents of Samaria, were arrested today (Sunday) on suspicion of assaulting soldiers from the Civil Administration and a Palestinian man in the Adi Ad area in Binyamin.

The investigation of the incident indicates that the soldiers arrived at the scene following a report of a fire incident.

During the handling of the incident, a number of suspects arrived at the soldiers' vehicle and sprayed tear gas on their faces, threatened them and fled the scene.

"An IDF officer and soldier were injured," the IDF spokesman said on the day of the attack.
