A 26-year-old cyclist was taken into custody by the police on Saturday evening in Verden after throwing a plastic bottle.
As the police announced on Sunday, the man dropped the bottle carelessly on the street, which caused a 64-year-old driver to brake hard.
Accordingly, the 64-year-old wanted to clarify the matter, but was then hit in the face by the apparently slightly drunk 26-year-old.
Verden - The cyclist then alerted the ambulance himself, but also messed with the crew of the ambulance.
He also showed himself to be unreasonable in contact with the police involved and was finally taken into custody for the night.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated.
Double bad luck for the 26-year-old: The mountain bike, which he connected to a lantern for the time of the police arrest, was stolen from him by strangers.
