After eight years, the Fromuth Heene era at the Herrsching Women's Union came to an end before the summer holidays.
The CSU chairwoman had previously given up her council mandate and now wants to take care of the fate of the local association alone.
The new chairwoman of the Women's Union is Daniela Daiker.
The 51-year-old chaired her first board meeting this week.
Herrsching
- Daniela Daiker has lived in Herrsching with her partner and child for six years. Born in the Black Forest, she has lived in Bavaria for 33 years and has been a member of the CSU for 21 years. As Director of Marketing for an American medical technology company, she is fully employed and, as the mother of a nine-year-old son, knows what it means to be well connected in everyday life. This is exactly what she would like to continue as the new chairwoman of the Herrsching Women's Union. Daniela Daiker admits that Fromuth Heene gave the initial spark for the commitment about a year ago. The CSU chairwoman addressed her directly during the election campaign. “And if you have something to say, you also have to get involved,” thought Daniela Daiker. So she said yes when it came to the successor to the chairmanship of the Women's Union.
The networking was the incentive, but the new chairwoman has many more ideas for the Herrsching local association, which has around 120 members.
Like her predecessor, she wants to continue the “Ladies' Nights” in order to strengthen the retail sector.
She also has in mind the organization of a large-scale garage flea market.
She would also like to bring old and young together, create a platform on which people of all generations can help each other - whether with grandma's service or when shopping.
But first of all, the website has to be "spruced up", she says.
This, too, is something that she would like to tackle soon and that she can be sure of support from the board.
Fromuth Heene is also represented there as an assessor.
