Four days after Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera was attacked by hackers, the Ministry of Health and the National Cyber System reported this morning (Sunday) that over the weekend there was an increase in attempts to attack hospitals and medical organizations.
According to the joint announcement of the ministry and the cyber array, the attack attempts were halted and no damage was done after early deployment and a quick response from the center and staff on the ground.

Meanwhile, the two bodies, along with other teams at Hillel Yaffe, continue to work to return the hospital's information systems to ongoing operations "gradually and securely as soon as possible," according to the joint announcement.
"The Ministry of Health and the National Cyber System have been carrying out many activities in recent days with bodies in the health sector to further strengthen the level of protection, while identifying new vulnerabilities in the area that may be used for attacks and calling on bodies to close them."
