The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court is currently hearing a hearing on extending the detention of the three suspects who were arrested early in the morning on suspicion of involvement in the murder and absence of Avi Edri and Nissim Sheetrit about thirty years ago.
Police are seeking to extend their detention by 12 days.
They are suspected of murder, conspiracy and kidnapping.
The detention of one of them was extended.
As mentioned, three Jerusalem residents were arrested this morning (Sunday) on suspicion of being involved in the absence of the boy Nissim Sheetrit in 1986 and the murder of Avraham Deri in 1990.
After the arrest of the three suspects, two men and a woman in their 60s, they were transferred for questioning to the Central Unit in the Jerusalem District.
Two of the suspects are members of Rabbi Eliezer Berland's "Shuvu Banim" congregation.
Meanwhile, about a year ago, "Here" aired the documentary "The Hidden Rabbi," in which one of Berland's followers admitted that the guards were modest, murdered Sheetrit, dismembered his body and buried its parts in the Eshtaol Forest near Jerusalem.
The "Hidden Rabbi" also mentions Deri's murder case.
