A shoplifter was caught red-handed in Freising.
His problem: He not only had stolen goods in his pocket.
Freising
- A supermarket customer (27) not only took too much with him, but also brought too much with him to “go shopping”.
As reported by the Freising police, a witness observed the 27-year-old on Friday around 5.30 p.m. in a Freising discounter as he tore open the packaging of 3 electronic items and put the goods in his pocket.
At the checkout he only paid for what was in the shopping cart.
(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
The department store detective stopped him and alerted the police.
During the search of the thief, the officers discovered a knife in his right pocket.
That constituted the offense of theft with weapons.
The knife was seized.
Criminal proceedings await the accused.
