Two injured, 5000 euros property damage: This is the balance sheet of an accident that occurred on Saturday evening around 6:20 p.m. on Kreisstraße 7.
Königsdorf
- As reported by the Geretsried police, a woman from Tölz (65) was on her way from Königsdorf to Bad Tölz with her car. In a wooded area she wanted to turn right into a junction and reduced her speed. The following BMW driver, a Gaißacher (22), apparently recognized this too late. He was well aware that he could no longer have avoided a rear-end collision. He steered the BMW sharply to the right just before the car was turning and hit a tree head-on. The Gaißacher and his co-driver (20) from Munich were initially trapped in their car. First aiders who happened to pass the scene of the accident freed the two young men from the vehicle. They were then taken to the Murnau accident hospital with the rescue service and a helicopter.The Köngisdorf and Geretsried fire brigades were on duty at the scene of the accident together with around 25 men. The county road had to be closed for about two hours. The BMW suffered a total loss of 5,000 euros.
