At the Strasbourg Eurometropolis, elected environmentalists and their allies go further than the climate and resilience law.
After the vote, Friday, at the end of a heated debate, but with a large majority of EELV, LREM and Socialist advisers, the low emissions zone (ZFE) will be deployed in all 33 municipalities of the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg (EMS) from January 2022. Or one year before the date set by Parliament for the start of the ban on the most polluting vehicles.
The
"educational measures"
, promises the Strasbourg executive, in response to the concerns of residents.
But, after a first year in which only checks will be carried out, the prohibition measures will come into force from January 2023, when “Crit'Air 5” vehicles will be banned from the city.
Next will be the “Crit'Air” 4 and 3, in 2024 and 2025, then it is in 2028 that the cars displaying the “Crit'Air 2” sticker should
