The corona incidence in Thuringia continued to rise significantly over the weekend.
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in one week was given by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Sunday as 135.6.
On Saturday, the corona infection rate was 129.1.
For some time now, the Free State has had the highest seven-day incidence among the federal states.
Erfurt - Germany-wide this value was 72.7 on Sunday.
According to the RKI, the health authorities have reported 394 new infections since Saturday.
There were no new deaths in connection with Covid 19 disease during this period.
Corona warning levels now apply in all Thuringian districts and independent cities.
The Kyffhäuserkreis was the first Thuringian municipality to switch to the highest warning level on Saturday.
