On Sunday I found a packet of walnuts at my workplace.
In it a short letter: “For Corona on the window sill in front of the office.
Winter is long. ”A big thank you to the anonymous donor!
I immediately gave some of it to our editorial team (and also treated myself to a nut).
It tasted very good.
I have not yet seen how the ravens crack the nuts.
Either they chop on it with their rather stately beak, or they let the nuts fall from a height on the ground so that they shatter.
In any case, winter can come now.
