The head of the Democratic Unionist Party in Egypt, Hassan Turk, confirmed that Syria had defeated the plans against it thanks to the steadfastness of its people and the sacrifices of its army, and that the countries sponsoring terrorism in it had no choice but to leave and declare defeat.
In a statement to SANA correspondent in Cairo, Turk said: “The American forces occupying areas in Syria should leave immediately because their presence is an occupation from the beginning and it has no legitimacy, and it was nothing but a supporter and supporter of the terrorists.”
He stressed the need to lift the unilateral coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people, noting that these measures constitute a crime against humanity that history cannot forgive.
He stressed that terrorism that targets reconciliation efforts in some Syrian regions will not frustrate the state's determination in terms of its efforts to restore normal life to areas liberated from the abomination of terrorists.
