He had driven in a serpentine manner in front of the patrol car.
Poing - With such a conspicuous driving style, the patrol simply had to stop the car: The VW drove in serpentine lines through Poing, directly in front of the police car.
It was Saturday, around 7 p.m., when the officers stopped the vehicle and checked the driver, the Poing police station reported on Sunday.
Poing: driver's license secured
Because they smelled alcohol, the police asked the 30-year-old Pole to take a voluntary breath alcohol test.
Result: over two per thousand.
The man was taken to have blood drawn, which is used to secure evidence in court, and the driver's license was secured.
The driver is now awaiting criminal proceedings for drunk driving.
