A 69-year-old man was attacked by a wild boar in Haifa and injured in his limbs and head.
The unusual event happened tonight (Sunday) on Flower Street in the city.
The wild boar hit the man, injuring him in the head and limbs.
MDA and Union and Rescue teams provided him with medical treatment in the field and evacuated him to Rambam Hospital in the city, at which point his condition is defined as moderate.
MDA medic Chai Takach and MDA paramedic Shelly Perlov said that "the wounded man was lying on the sidewalk while conscious and suffering from limb injuries. We were told that during a walk with the dog he was attacked by a wild boar and injured." Pain relief and evacuated him for further treatment at the hospital.

Last week, a 19-year-old man was moderately injured in a wild boar attack in a locality in the Samaria Regional Council.
MDA staff, assisted by an IDF medical force, provided him with medical treatment on the spot, and evacuated him by military helicopter to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, where he suffered a lower limb injury.
Last July, a report was published by the University of Haifa, which found that most of the city's residents feel that the issue of wild boars is the most urgent of the issues that the municipality needs to address, with 73% believing that the municipality's treatment needs improvement.
