The request of two Maccabi Tel Aviv players was accepted by the Exceptions Committee and they will be recognized as local players and not as citizens • Eisenhart also received the approval • Spencer Weiss will continue to be considered a citizen

The Exceptions Committee decided to accept the requests of Maccabi Tel Aviv players Jake Cohen and John Dibertolomeo and the two will be recognized as local players (HOME GROWN) and not as citizens.

As you may recall, last week we announced that the two have applied to the Exceptions Committee as well as other players in the league.

A request from a Hapoel Beer Sheva player, Ben Eisenhart, was also accepted and the player will not be recognized as a citizen.

On the other hand, Spencer Weiss from Hapoel Haifa will continue to be considered a citizen and will not be recognized as a local player because he plays in Israel for four seasons and is a partner in a few games of the Israeli national team.
