Tilman Kuban is convinced that the Young Union's Germany Day should provide the core impetus for a new beginning for the party.
On Sunday at the end of the three-day meeting of the youngsters in Münster, the JU chairman repeated the demand that no stone should be left unturned when coming to terms with the historically worst result in a federal election in September.
Münster - Kuban took up comments from North Rhine-Westphalia's Labor Minister Karl-Josef Laumann.
In his greeting that morning he reminded us that the foundation and the load-bearing walls must first be identified when renovating a house.
This also applies to the fundamental values of the Union.
