The advertising campaign of a brewery was a big hit: because there was free beer for firefighters, the emergency vehicles lined up.
- Ten cases of beer for free - that's what the Forsting brewery (Pfaffing municipality / Altlandkreis Wasserburg) advertised for fire brigades in the region.
The only condition: the fire fighters had to pick up their free beer themselves on Saturday - with an emergency vehicle.
The action was aimed at fire brigades from the southern district of Ebersberg and the nearby regions of the districts of Mühldorf, Erding and Rosenheim.
Over 100 weirs from all over the surrounding area in free beer use
And so a noticeable large number of Florians youngsters moved a "movement trip" to Saturday - and in the direction of Forsting.
In the end, it should have been over 100 weirs.
In the picture, for example, the Parsdorf-Hergolding fire brigade, journey: around 30 kilometers.
Fire brigades from Pliening to Altötting were spotted, some of them with new, some with historic vehicles to secure their contingent.
Ten crates of free beer per weir that arrives: the brewery assumes no liability for "fires that have to be extinguished the following day"
The announcement of the brewery: "We want to say MERCE to all the Florians in our area and therefore give every volunteer fire brigade 10 crates of beer" - the newly arrived Florians had to deposit a deposit of only 31 euros for crates and bottles.
In any case, there is no record that the brewery ran out of beer.
On the net, she whispers: "We assume no liability for any fires that have to be extinguished the following day!" Zwinkersmiley.
