After Geffen Primo won a gold medal at the Grand Slam Paris yesterday, the Israeli delegation secured another medal when Raz Hershko (over 78 kg) advanced to the prestigious final, and in fact secured a place on the podium.
Hershko started her way in the quarterfinals, where she got an iPhone at the expense of the Togolese Noalin Coro after less than a minute.
In the semi-final, rival Julia Tulopotea from France was much more stubborn when just seconds before the end of the fight she received three warnings.
