Good news for Danny Abdia.
According to a report in the US, the Washington Wizards will exercise the option on the Israeli who is expected to remain in the capital at least until the summer of 2023 and his salary will jump to $ 4,916,160 million next season.
Abdia recorded a not-so-bad rookie season last season.
He played in 54 games, of which in 32 he started in the top five and recorded statistics of 6.3 points per game, 4.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists.
In April in a game against Golden State he injured his ankle and finished the season and in recent months has worked to return to fitness ahead of his second season in the best league in the world.
The Wizards will exercise the 2022-23 contract options for Rui Hachimura (4th year) and Deni Avdija (3rd year), @NBCSWashington has learned.
Expected moves, but noteworthy for Hachimura because next summer he will be extension eligible.
