Saxony with the second highest corona incidence nationwide

The number of new corona infections in Saxony continues to rise. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reported 113.8 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within one week on Sunday morning. After Thuringia (135.6), that was the second highest value nationwide. On Saturday, the seven-day incidence was still 105.2. Nationwide, the RKI gave the value as 72.7.

Dresden - Another death was registered in Saxony - there were also around 800 new infections within one day.

The infection rate was particularly high in central Saxony (208.3) and lowest in the Vogtland district (41.5).
