Two people last Friday robbed jewelry worth one million two hundred thousand dollars from a Jew living in the Borough Park neighborhood of New York, while sitting in his car at noon, on a street full of people.
At around one o'clock in the afternoon, a man was sitting in his car at 47th Street in the ultra-Orthodox neighborhood.
In a document distributed after the incident by the Hashomerim organization, an ultra-Orthodox organization that aims to prevent violence and harm to Jews, two people are suddenly seen approaching the vehicle and attacking it.

The robbery itself lasted only 30 seconds.
At gunpoint, the robbers forced the man to open his trunk, and after picking up a number of bags that were in the area, containing jewelry and gems belonging to a local jewelry store, they fled the scene.
New York City police and guards have launched a manhunt for the two robbers, who according to testimony were of Hispanic descent in their 30s, but to no avail.
Police said the two fled the scene in a Ford car with a New Jersey state license plate affixed to it.
It is not clear how they knew about the jewelry at the immense value that was in the vehicles.
