The death toll from Corona is on the verge of 8,000;

The Ministry of Health has updated that the death toll from corona from the outbreak of the plague stands at 7,999.

380 patients are hospitalized in critical condition, including 164 respirators.

So far more than 6.2 million people have been vaccinated with the first dose against the virus, and more than 3.38 million have been vaccinated with the booster

The death toll from the corona virus from the outbreak of the plague in Israel stands at 7,999 - the Ministry of Health updated tonight (Sunday).

Meanwhile, today for the first time in three months less than a thousand verified people were diagnosed in one day, with 734 verified viruses.

The percentage of positive tests was only 1.63%.

At present, 380 patients are hospitalized in critical condition, including 164 respirators.

Also, more than 6.2 million people have been vaccinated so far in the first dose against the virus, and more than 3.83 million have been vaccinated in the booster dose.

Earlier this morning, at the weekly cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett noted the significant decline in the number of critically ill patients, saying that it could be said "with caution that we are winning the delta wave."

He stressed that this is not the end of the treatment of the virus, and that they are preparing for the "omega", a code name for a new variant that may break out in the future, as well as for the flu with the arrival of winter.

This morning the duty began to encode the barcode on top of the new green mark, and the old green mark fell out of use.

According to the new regulation, which was determined at the request of Minister Zeev Elkin, the business owner must scan the secret code (barcode) on the character, and not just the auditor's statement, so that the possibility of impersonating or entering a place without a new character will be reduced.

The definitions of the new green mark state that a vaccinated person is one who has a "fresh" vaccine, meaning that less than half a year has passed since the second vaccine or that he has already received the third dose.

For people recovering from the virus, the ratio is similar - only a person who has recovered in the last six months is entitled to the new mark, while those who have fallen ill before will have to be vaccinated in one dose to get a green mark.

The new green mark will be valid for the next six months.
