At about 6 am, Kai Tak Tunnel’s Kowloon Bay exit Kai Fuk Road heading towards Kwun Tong. It was reported that a road subsidence suddenly occurred near the petrol station express line. A taxi arrived before evading and the front wheel was stuck in the pit. Immobile.
Due to the sudden incident, a van and another taxi were behind the vehicle and were unable to stop the collision from head to tail, resulting in a three-car "skewers" accident.
Two people were injured in the incident and must be sent to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
