A 16-year-old from Cologne tried to steal video games worth more than 1500 euros on Friday.
In a specialist electronics store in Troisdorf, the youngster packed more than 20 game CDs into his leather bag.
According to the police, he was only targeting the latest part of the first-person shooter "Far Cry".
When the shop detective approached him, the minor threw away his shoulder bag and tried to escape.
