A man from southern Hesse is said to have attached a device to an ATM that can be used to spy out data from bank customers.
The 44-year-old was arrested and taken into custody, as the police and public prosecutor's office announced on Monday in Darmstadt.
Lorsch / Darmstadt - The investigators accuse him of having installed a so-called skimming device on the machine in Darmstadt in August.

The 44-year-old was reportedly arrested on Saturday by civil investigators at a rest area near Lorsch (Bergstrasse district).
