Moorenweis - Thefts from changing rooms during soccer games increased.
Now a perpetrator could be caught.
At around 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, a TSV Moorenweis player observed a man in the locker room who was pulling a cell phone out of a jacket pocket.
Since it was not initially clear that it was a theft, he let the man go.
Cell phones and wallets stolen from jackets
Shortly afterwards, several teammates found that their jackets were missing cell phones and wallets.
The players set out to look for the stranger and were able to find him not far from the sports field.
The man pulled out several cell phones, claiming he found them and was about to take them to the sports field.
The patrol, which has since been called, found that the
39-year-old from Munich
had already had several relevant
criminal
records
.
The cell phone thief was brought before the judge the next morning, and his apartment in Munich was also searched.
A few of the stolen purses were found near the sports field.
Two similar cases
Two thefts in changing rooms in Olching and Gilching in the last few weeks could also bear the handwriting of the arrested person.
