Alex Saab, the Colombian businessman accused of being the alleged financier of the questioned President Nicolás Maduro, appeared in court in Florida, United States

Saab, who wore an orange jumpsuit, appeared virtually to this initial hearing in which he was charged with charges of money laundering and overvaluation of contracts.
The judge denied Saab bail and a next hearing was scheduled for November 1.
Saab was extradited this Saturday to the United States from Cape Verde, where he had been detained since June 2020.
