Three weeks after the election to the Berlin House of Representatives, the bodies of the SPD, the Greens and the Left will decide whether to start coalition negotiations.
Today (4.30 p.m.) the state executive committee of the SPD meets first.
In the early evening (6:00 p.m.) the state executive of the Left will meet.
In her case, however, the decision will only be made at an extraordinary party conference on Tuesday.
Berlin - The state committee of the Greens, like the SPD, will decide on this evening (7.30 p.m.).
The SPD, the Greens and the Left agreed on a paper with 19 guidelines on Friday, which should form the basis of the coalition negotiations.
There, points such as more housing, a functioning administration, the appointment of teachers and more posts for the police are recorded.

Unlike the SPD, the left and the Greens had already spoken out during the election campaign for a new coalition of the three parties that have governed together in Berlin since 2016.
Realistically, there would have been no alternative to red-green-red for the left.

However, the Greens did not agree to that.
