Saxony-Anhalt can tackle its major construction projects as part of the federal government's 200 million euro special investment program.
The Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media had approved the project list, the Ministry of Culture announced on Monday in Magdeburg.
This was the starting shot for the extensive renovation of ten cultural monuments of the Saxony-Anhalt Cultural Foundation.
Magdeburg - A total of 200 million euros will flow into the projects that have now been approved by 2027.
Half of the sum is borne by the federal and state governments.
The special investment program offers the country an enormous opportunity, said Minister of State and Culture Rainer Robra (CDU).
“For the first time we will be able to comprehensively renovate and present our cultural treasures.
