The Food and Health Bureau announced a mandatory test announcement tonight (18th). In response to a locally confirmed case involving the L452R mutant virus strain and an imported case that had stayed in Hong Kong during the incubation period, anyone who had been in Hong Kong on the 1st of this month North Point Cafe Paradise and North Point Jinbaihuang Restaurant, as well as taxis who have been to the Lau Kailing Medical Clinic in Tai Po on the 8th of this month, will be subject to mandatory inspection and review before this Wednesday (20th).

Airport cargo workers involved in the epidemic and confirmed patients returning from overseas travellers
A cargo worker working at HACTL at the airport’s Super Terminal 1 was diagnosed early this month. He was diagnosed with the L452R variant virus and was classified as a local case of unknown origin.
In response to the above-mentioned cases and an imported case that had stayed in Hong Kong during the incubation period, the Food and Health Bureau issued a mandatory test announcement. Three places in Hong Kong require mandatory test reviews:
1. Anyone who has been in Cafe Paradise, Shop CD, G/F, Tung Po Building, 483-497 King’s Road, North Point between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm on the 1st of this month (including but not limited to full-time, part-time and Fake employees and visitors) must be tested on or before the 20th of this month.
2. Anyone who has been in the Jinbaihuang Restaurant, Shop A, Ground Floor, Dongbao Building, 483-497 King’s Road, North Point between 5:30 pm and 8 pm on the 1st of this month (including but not limited to full-time, part-time and Fake employees and visitors) must be tested on or before the 20th of this month.
3. Anyone who has been in the Liu Kailing Medical Clinic (including but not limited to full-time, part-time And substitute employees and visitors), must be tested on or before the 20th of this month.
If the above subjects have been tested between the 16th and 18th of this month, they will be deemed to have complied with the requirements of the mandatory testing announcement; those who have completed the vaccination must also undergo the above-mentioned mandatory testing.
In addition, due to outbreaks of upper respiratory tract infection and/or influenza-like illness in two schools, and the symptoms of the disease are similar to those of new coronary pneumonia, the relevant school or its specified level has been included in the mandatory testing announcement:
1. Anyone who has been in the Hong Kong Yao Energy Association Jockey Club Tian Qi Ling School at 1 Fu Chung Lane, Tai Po, New Territories for more than two hours from the 5th to the 18th of this month (including but not limited to full-time, part-time and substitute employees, Students and visitors), must be tested on or before the 20th of this month.
2. From the 5th to the 18th of this month at Po Leung Kuk Shide Primary School, 23 Tsing Lu Street, Tsing Yi, New Territories, Hong Kong, and designated school teachers (including but not limited to full-time, part-time and Fake teacher), must be tested on or before the 20th of this month.
If the above subjects have been tested between the 16th and 18th of this month, they will be deemed to have complied with the requirements of the mandatory testing announcement.
