Among the 17 samples purchased by the Consumer Council at different retail locations, 14 samples were found to contain the heavy metal cadmium, with levels ranging from 0.0035 liang to 0.0230 mg per kilogram, but the detected amount was below the limit in many regions.

The agent of Earth's Best told the Consumer Council that all raw material grain batches will only be applied to production after rigorous testing, but the products tested in the second test also meet the current legal limits in China and Europe.
