Nina Mittelham and Shan Xiaona from TTC Berlin Eastside are in the squad of the German Table Tennis Association for the World Championships from November 23 to 29 in Houston. In the US state of Texas, the titles are awarded in women’s and men’s singles, women’s and men’s doubles and mixed. Mittelham (25th / 33rd in the world rankings), who was the substitute woman at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in the summer, then had the third individual title in the German championship, the Europe Top 16 and, with the DTTB selection as number one, the victory in the European team fetched.

The DTTB nomination initially only refers to the individual competitions.
The combinations in which the three double competitions will be contested will not be decided until later.
Both Mittelham and Shan could well get more starts.
