Unknown people have hung up several alleged wanted posters with the likeness of a Frankfurt policewoman.
As the police announced in Frankfurt on Monday, the posters were placed in the run-up to the Bundesliga game between Eintracht Frankfurt and Hertha BSC on Saturday in the Sachsenhausen district and around the football arena.
Frankfurt / Main - The official was accused of "defamation and aggressiveness against fans of Eintracht Frankfurt" on the posters.
The Frankfurt police chief Gerhard Bereswill condemned the posters: "I cannot tolerate such behavior, in which an employee of the Frankfurt police headquarters is defamed for no reason because she goes about her work, and is not acceptable".
A corresponding criminal complaint will now be made.
