Based on the recommendation of the Ministry of Health, the Prime Minister has decided that the outline of the green class will also be extended to the green and yellow cities in full, starting next week, Sunday, October 24th.
In addition, the layout of the green classroom will also be extended to kindergartens and day care centers in the green and yellow cities.
At the same time, it was further decided that for the orange and red cities, where morbidity is higher, a separate outline would be formulated by the Ministries of Health and Education to be presented soon.
Starting in the afternoon, students participating in the Green Classroom Outline will not participate in multi-participant activities that do not include classmates and will not enter places where the Green Mark applies.
The purpose of prevention is to reduce the chances of infection and maintain the health of students, while keeping the education system open.
The discussion that took place today was attended by the Minister of Health, the Minister of Education, the Director General of the Ministry of Health, the Director General of the Ministry of Education, the Corona Commissioner, the Head of Public Health Services at the Ministry of Health, the Home Front Command, the Ministry of Finance , Assistant Defense Minister for Defense and Other Professionals.
The green class program in elementary schools in green cities was already launched on Sunday last week, and as part of it, the isolation days of students living in green communities are reduced.
According to the procedure, in a classroom where a verified patient is discovered, the class students are examined on the first day by a PCR test, which is performed at Home Front Command positions or at the health funds.
Just yesterday the Ministry of Education announced that it has started distributing kits of rapid corona tests (antigen) to kindergarten children, ages 6-3.
