The Ministry of Health has set criteria for those eligible, including adults who cannot receive a vaccine based on mRNA technology

The Ministry of Health has informed the HMOs: The

administration of Astraznica vaccines will begin this coming Thursday.

According to the Ministry of Health, those eligible for the Astrazenica vaccine are those aged 18 and over who have been referred by the attending physician in the following cases: .

To the extent that an Astrazenica vaccine is given, a person will be defined as protected in the following cases: First, those who have not yet been vaccinated with even one dose (with each corona vaccine) will be defined as protected after receiving 2 doses of Astrazenica vaccine, and only after 14 receiving the second dose.

Second, those who complete a second dose at Astraznica will be declared protected after 14 days of receiving the second dose.

Third, those who complete dose 3 will be able to be vaccinated 5 months after receiving the second dose and will be declared protected after 14 days of receiving the 3rd dose.

Some of the vaccines against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes corona disease, are based on innovative technology that allows the production of mRNA molecules that encode one of the virus' proteins.

The mRNA is wrapped in a fatty shell, similar to the membranes of the body's cells, in order for the shell to unite with the cell membranes of the vaccinated person, thus inserting the mRNA trapped in the shell.

Inside the cells the mRNA is translated and the virus proteins are formed.

In the next step, these proteins will be introduced into the immune system by the cells, as happens with natural viral infection. When the immune system is exposed to these proteins, it will produce an immune memory against them. And will cause damage.
