Interns' protest:
Letters of resignation from hundreds of young doctors from 35 wards in hospitals across the country were filed today (Monday) following a protest over the length of shifts of 26 hours.
This is the first stage of the resignation process, with the interns emphasizing that if they are forced to carry out the second stage, it is a matter of a similar scope of departments.
When the resignation letters take effect, the departments will not be able to continue operating.
The organization of doctors who specialize in "prescription" clarifies: "As long as there is no change in the outline for shortening the shifts in the coming days, hundreds of additional resignation letters will be submitted in dozens of additional departments throughout the country's hospitals."

The prescription organization "Prescription" said this morning: "In recent days we have made a sincere effort with Minister Horowitz and the Ministry of Health, but unfortunately there has been no progress. For the unusual step of submitting personal resignation letters, for a moment we did not believe we would reach this difficult day. "
"Our commitment is to our patients, those who put our lives in our hands, we can not continue to give them the medical care they deserve, we can not continue to endanger them and ourselves in 26-hour shifts. It is time for the Minister of Health to wake up, in 14 days. The first to take effect, "the organization added.
