The city of Koblenz has filed a criminal complaint against an unknown person because leaflets in almost all parts of the city falsely referred to free bus services.
According to the city hall on Monday, it was a "fake information sheet with a portrait and signature of Lord Mayor David Langner" (SPD).
It was thrown into mailboxes on Saturday evening and Sunday morning and attached to cars.
Koblenz - The official leaflet promised a one-week free test without tickets on the buses of the Koblenz transport company (koveb) since Monday (October 18).
The city administration spoke of forgery of documents, deliberate deception and forgery of signatures.
