Moscow-Sana

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Siromolotov affirmed that Moscow is open to a dialogue with Washington that serves the interests of both sides in the fight against terrorism.

"Washington used earlier a far-fetched excuse to unilaterally suspend meetings related to the fight against terrorism, which are part of a high-level dialogue under the auspices of the diplomatic agencies of Russia and the United States, which was held in Vienna," Siromolotov told Russia's TASS news agency.

“Russia, for its part, is ready for professional discussions of mutual benefit, but only through common interests and interests,” Siromolotov added, noting that the Russian and American special services had not cut off their contacts.

The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister considered that it is necessary to continue contacts on a regular basis and that the related work should not stop nor could it depend on the political situation.
