The Milan Public Prosecutor has asked for the investigation to be closed with the elderly dead at the center of the Pio Albergo Trivulzio, a historic Milanese 'baggina', in the first wave of Covid in the early months of 2020.
"The decision of the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office - explains Alessandro Azzoni, president of the Felicita Association which brings together relatives - finds us totally embittered but not surprised".
According to the association, the demand for "truth and justice" was "evaded by the prosecutor (and not only)".
As far as has been known, the Milanese Public Prosecutor's Office also requested the dismissal for all other similar proceedings relating to deaths in the Milanese RSA.
