The Eretz Israel lobby in the Knesset claims that this is a "Yom Kippur failure of the Civil Administration" and that the discussion on the issue should be held in the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee • MK Miki Zohar: "Unimaginable reality"

"The failure to disclose information must be brought to justice":

The Eretz Israel lobby in the Knesset this morning (Monday) submitted a request for a quick discussion in the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee following the revelation of an "organization so far" that leaked sensitive information on real estate transactions in Judea and Samaria to the Palestinian security services.

MKs Yoav Kish and Orit Struck said that "this is the Yom Kippur default of the Civil Administration. Whoever is responsible for removing dozens of real estate files from the administration's offices and transferring them to Nablus, as if there is no Palestinian Authority, no preventive security and no death sentence for land sellers - must prosecute the default this".

MK Miki Zohar added: "A reality in which the Civil Administration is controlled by the Palestinian Authority is not perceived.

"The exposure of the 'so far' organization is extremely important, and it is appropriate that the Civil Administration's oversight mechanism, which is the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, discuss the issue as soon as possible."

As you may recall, "Israel Today" reported that a senior employee of the Civil Administration had been abducted by the Palestinian Authority with sensitive information in his hands.

The lobby claims that this is not a one-time event, but a recurring pattern of security action.

Common to all the cases is that the workers were exposed to sensitive information about real estate transactions in Judea and Samaria, while the sale of land to Jews constitutes an offense in the Palestinian Authority that is punishable by death.

According to them, the Civil Administration has so far failed to eradicate the phenomenon and the GSS has warned against employing Palestinian workers, who are exposed to confidential information without the required security classification.

Gilad Ach, director general of the organization "Up to Here", which revealed the affair, said: "We call on the members of the Knesset presidency to approve the speedy discussion on the issue.

It is not a question of right or left, but of whether the State of Israel will continue to be a sovereign state or whether it will be a leaf in the hands of the Palestinian Authority. "
