The legal battle over the fate of Alte Pixler came to a tragic end tonight (Monday), after the two-and-a-half-year-old toddler passed away.
A British court has today ordered the disconnection from the toddler's body of all devices attached to it that helped her stay alive, which led to her death.
After a struggle of several months, in which Israeli public figures also tried to harness, to no avail, all British courts rejected the appeals and ruled that the toddler, who suffered severe brain damage, should be disconnected from the devices that helped her live.
