Ski: the opening dates of the resorts this winter 2021-2022

In the Alps, the Pyrenees, the Massif Central and the Vosges, the main ski areas and resorts have announced their opening date.


The first ski slopes opened on October 16 in Tignes.

The Savoyard glacier welcomes the first descenders of a winter sports season which starts without a health pass but with the assurance that the ski lifts will be open.

This winter, it's open!

»Repeated the Secretary of State for Tourism, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne in mid-October.

In the French massifs, the complete openings of ski areas will follow one another, all the resorts planning to welcome skiers from December 18, before the Christmas holidays, if the snow conditions allow it.

Here are the dates scheduled to date for the main areas.

In the northern and southern Alps: start from November 20

Tignes opened its Grande-Motte glacier on October 16;

Les Deux-Alpes will open their summit to the general public from October 23 until November 7.
