The most advanced project in France is called Nuward.
It is led by EDF, with the French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission (CEA), Naval Group and TechnicAtome.
It is still at the development stage, far from a possible public order that would engage the executive.
In the immediate future, the sector is rather waiting to relaunch a giant order for 6 EPRs to replace the most aging EDF plants.
