After the forced Corona break, the Tegernseer Tal protection community came together again for the annual general meeting.

Angela Brogsitter-Finck was re-elected as chairwoman there.

Kreuth

- At its annual general meeting in the Kreuther natural cheese dairy, the Schutzgemeinschaft Tegernseer Tal looked back on two years, 2019 and 2020.

A long report for Angela Brogsitter-Finck, who was re-elected as Chair that evening.

"One last time," she said before the vote.

33 of the almost 430 members had come to the meeting.

New Year's Eve without fireworks

Brogsitter-Finck recorded the trend towards fireworks-free New Year's Eve in the Tegernsee Valley, the founding of the Oberland Initiative for Ecology & Traffic, the rejection of development on the Steinberg, the use of rangers in the mountains, the tree-planting campaign on the Weissach and the cancellation of the Water management office on the Tegernsee flood protection project.

The chair thanked all members for their commitment, perseverance and perseverance.

She also emphasized the contact and exchange with other nature, animal and landscape conservation initiatives.

But she also talked about failures.

The efforts to preserve Bavaria's most beautiful fire station in Tegernsee have been in vain.

No success at the Greawasserl

The petition in the matter of the grit hall at Greawasserl, "in which not a grain of grit has yet been stored", has unfortunately failed.

“We must not accept the sellout of our homeland without contradiction.

The landscape is our capital and secures our future, ”said Brogsitter-Finck.

Some things annoy them: The new Westerhof Hotel is not off the table and the Almdorf is under discussion again.

The chairman warned urgently against the construction of underground car parks, which she ironically referred to as “modern water retention basins”.

Criticism of Saurüsselalm

The SGT gives the Saurüsselalm in Bad Wiessee a headache, and the owner Franz Haslberger is converting it into a hiker's inn.

Brogsitter-Finck complained about the construction, the expansion of the access road, the owner's approach and the operating concept.

She is surprised "that Mr. Haslberger just doesn't understand how important nature is".

A luxury caterer is not a hut keeper.

The SGT fears that after the approved weekly hut evenings and 15 special events annually, guests will rush back into the valley with headlamps at night.

Embezzled 900 euros

But there are also other kinds of grief. Treasurer Andrea Schack revealed an unfair cash withdrawal, i.e. the embezzlement of 900 euros by the former managing director of the accounting company working for the association. This means the "probable loss of the amount". Otherwise, the association's cash book was kept flawlessly.

Markus Staudacher from Tegernsee and Cornelia Hagn from Weissach have recently joined Brogsitter-Finck as deputies.

Restorer Barbara Staudacher from Tegernsee was elected as secretary, Petra Schmid from Gmund as the new treasurer.

The previous incumbents Johannes von Miller and Andrea Schack, who are now politically active as Greens municipal councilors, said goodbye to the board so that the SGT continues to have the status of non-party status.

With Tegernsee's Green City Councilor Markus Staudacher, who announced an improved SGT homepage, the non-partisan board would otherwise no longer exist.
