The violence continues - another murder in Arab society:

A 44-year-old man was shot to death this morning (Monday) in the town of Ba'ana.

The shooting took place from a passing vehicle towards another vehicle in which the victim was traveling.

The medical forces that arrived at the scene found him in a very humane condition and later an intensive care team was forced to determine his death.

The police said: "The forces are at the scene, collecting findings and opening an investigation into the incident. At the same time, they are conducting searches for the vehicle from which the shooting took place."

According to the suspect, the murder took place against the background of a conflict between criminals.

The vehicle, which was used by the killers and recorded on security cameras, was stolen and found after it was completely burned.

According to surveillance data from the Avraham Initiatives Association, since the beginning of the year, 100 Arabs have been murdered in Israel in circumstances related to violence and crime, of which 85 are civilians and 15 are non-citizens.

In addition, 7 civilians were killed by police forces, and 1 policeman was killed in a car crash by an Arab citizen.

Of all those killed, 13 are women.

Also, in 83 of the cases, the murder was done using a firearm.

48 of the murdered were up to the age of 30.

As you may recall, about six months ago, there was a double murder in Deir al-Assad near Ba'ana.

The shooting is related to a conflict between families in the locality.

The two young men who were shot dead were relatives - Hafez Sana Allah and Ahmad Sana Allah, aged 26 and 23.

Meanwhile, a 20-year-old man was shot last night and slightly injured in Ashkelon.

Police opened an investigation and arrested three young men who were suspected of being with him at the time of his injury.

Police also located in the city the scene where the shooting incident apparently took place.

Bennett on crime in the Arab sector: "We are losing the country"

As you may recall, the government last night approved Justice Minister Gideon Saar's proposal, which is intended to expand police search powers as part of the fight against crime in Arab society.

During the discussions on the state of crime in Arab society, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said: "You have the backing of me to act. We are losing the country."

Minister Issawi Frij said: "If it is necessary for the CIA to enter as well, the main thing will be security."

Most of the proposed amendment is intended to give the Israel Police authority to conduct a search without a court order when there is a reasonable suspicion that there is an object associated with a serious crime, including weapons and protection offenses, which may serve as evidence of the offense.

Also, the police will be able to conduct a search without a warrant only when there is a suspicion of the disappearance or damage of evidence.
