Over the weekend, the prestigious travel magazine World Travel Awards published the list of the best hotels in Israel in the various categories.
Hotels were divided by boutique hotels, business, best suite and hotels in general.
The best hotel in Israel according to the magazine is the David Intercontinental Hotel in Tel Aviv.
The hotel, located near the Charles Clore Park and close to the Jaffa border, has won excellent hotels, including the Carlton and Hilton Hotel in Tel Aviv, the King David and Waldorf Astoria in Jerusalem and the Jaffa and Stay in Jaffa, all of which came in first place on the list.

In the category of the best boutique hotels in Israel, the American Colony Hotel in Jerusalem is at the top of the list.
The Alma Hotel in Zichron Yaacov is in second place and the Beit Galil Hotel in the Biriya Forest won the third and most honorable place.
In the category of the best business hotels in Israel, the Sheraton Hotel in Tel Aviv tops the list, followed immediately again by the second and very respectable place, the Carlton Hotel located on the beach in Tel Aviv.
All the hotels on the list are located in Tel Aviv except the King David Hotel in Jerusalem.

The best suite in Israel is located at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Herzliya and immediately followed by the King David Suite in Jerusalem, the De Jappa and Dan Eilat hotels also excel in their prestigious suites according to the magazine.
Apart from the suite of the Dan Eilat Hotel, there is no representation of the hotels in Eilat on the prestigious list.
Most of the hotels mentioned are located in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, along with representations of individual hotels from different points around the country.
