The police caught a man from Munich who is said to have repeatedly stolen cell phones and wallets from changing rooms.
Moorenweis - A player from TV Moorenweis observed on Thursday, October 14 at around 8 p.m., as a man in the locker room was pulling a cell phone out of a jacket pocket. Since it was not initially clear that it was a theft, he let the man go. Shortly afterwards, several teammates found that their jackets were missing cell phones and wallets. The players set out to look for the stranger and were able to find him not far from the sports field. The man pulled out several cell phones, claiming he found them and was about to take them to the sports field.
The patrol that has since been called up found that the 39-year-old from Munich had already had several relevant criminal records.
The cell phone thief was brought before the judge the next morning, and his apartment in Munich was also searched.
A few of the stolen purses were found near the sports field.
Two thefts in changing rooms in Olching and Gilching in the last few weeks could also bear the handwriting of the arrested person.
