Füssen - A woman forgot her husband on the A7 on Saturday afternoon and drove on without him.
Late on Saturday afternoon, according to the police headquarters in Swabia South / West, the police received a notification that there was a pedestrian in the Füssen border tunnel.
As it turned out, the man from Albania had previously been stuck in a traffic jam with his wife in their car.
So when he got out to smoke a cigarette and the traffic jam suddenly cleared, his wife drove on without him.
In order to look for this, he ran a total of two times through the tunnel until he was finally picked up by a patrol.
The wife could then be reached by phone.
She picked him up and both could continue their journey together.
