"None of these cases present to date a serious factor", specifies the ARS, stressing that the two people, vaccinated, remain likely to transmit the virus.

We hoped that all this would be a thing of the past now, and yet. In Toulouse, the regional health agency of Occitanie warns in a press release about a potential

"chain of contamination"

to Covid-19. A possible cluster that dates back more than a week. From October 8 to 10 took place the Holà Cuba festival, which brought together dance and music aficionados from the Caribbean island. Friday 8, a first evening was organized at Bascala de Bruguières, a room located north of Toulouse. Saturday 9 and Sunday 10, the festivities moved to the Palladia hotel in Toulouse.

Problem for the organizers, the two people carrying the virus followed the festival throughout the weekend and therefore carried the virus to both Bruguières and Toulouse.

1,300 people are therefore affected by this chain of contamination.

Strict control

The organization of the festival indicates that it has strictly adhered to the protocols and sanitary pass controls and specifies that the two positive people are vaccinated.

“None of these cases present to date a serious factor

,

confirms the regional health agency Occitanie in its press release.

The Occitanie ARS invites all people who participated in the festival to be tested, to apply the barrier gestures to the letter, and to isolate themselves if symptoms occur.

In addition, the agency calls on all participants to send an email to

ars31-alerte@ars-sante.fr

to benefit from a free screening, vaccinated or not.
