In a failed overtaking maneuver in Klingenberg (Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district), two people were seriously injured on Monday.
A 32-year-old driver had lost control of his car while overtaking another car and crashed into a tree, the police said.
He and his 14 year old passenger were seriously injured.
Klingenberg - The driver of the car that was overtaken left the scene of the accident without permission.
The police have started an investigation and are looking for witnesses who can provide information about the refugee driver.
The property damage is estimated at 10,000 euros.
